What we store on your device
Your rides, scores, streak, chosen lift staff and sound setting are saved in your browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off. This never leaves your device unless you sign in.
If you sign in
Signing in with Google is optional. If you do, we receive your name, email address and a user ID from Google, and we store your saved rides and settings in our database (hosted by Supabase) so they sync across devices. We don't sell this data or use it for anything else. To delete your account and data, email the address below.
Advertising
Floored is supported by ads served by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings, and learn more at how Google uses data from partner sites. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (page views and how many rides are finished) to improve the game. No individual tracking profile is built.
Error reports
If the game hits a technical error in your browser, it sends us the error message, the page, your browser type and the game version so we can fix it. Nothing that identifies you is included.
Gameplay stats
To see how the daily puzzle is going, the game records a few anonymous events for today's ride: that a visit happened (and, if your browser says so, which website linked here, as just its name like "reddit"), that a ride started, each stop's points, guess count and first guess, the time to finish, and whether you tapped Share. They're tied only to the same random device ID used for scores, never to your account, name or email.
Reports
If you use "Something off?" to report an answer, we store the list, the item, the kind of problem and any note you write. It isn't linked to you.
